Trading rules
The rules are checked on every price tick by our engine, not by a person. Here is what each one means.
#Profit target
Reach 10% closed profit on the account to pass. It's one step: there is no second phase.
#Daily loss limit
You can lose up to 2% in a day, measured from your start-of-day balance. The day resets at 00:00 UTC.
#Max loss
Your equity can never fall more than 6% below the level the rule tracks. On the Standard profile that level is fixed at your starting balance; the risk profiles page shows it for each one.
#Time limit and trading days
There is no time limit. There is no minimum number of trading days, so you can pass on day one.
#Leverage
Up to 10x per position. Each market's own maximum on Hyperliquid still applies if it is lower.
#Fair play
- Trade the markets in the terminal. It's the same list for everyone.
- Don't hedge the same idea across two of your accounts to dodge a limit.
- Your account is yours: no shared logins and no trading on someone else's behalf.
#The full rule sheet
Some profiles add extra rules, like a limit on floating loss or on how much of your profit one day can make up. The live, complete list is on the Rules page, and your own account's rules are always shown in the terminal's rules panel.
