The words you'll see around the platform, in plain English.

#Terms

Equity: Your balance plus the profit or loss on open positions, right now.
Balance: What the account holds with every position closed.
Drawdown: How far equity has fallen from a reference level.
Evaluation: The account you trade to prove your skill before getting funded.
Funded account: The account you trade after passing, where you keep a share of the profit.
Reward share: Your share of the profit on a funded account.
Perpetual (perp): A futures contract with no expiry date, the kind Hyperliquid lists.
Lot: In our terminal, 1 lot is 1 coin of the market you trade.
Self-custodial: A wallet where only you hold the keys and can move the funds.
Arbitrum: The Ethereum network our contracts and rewards run on.
USDT: Tether, a dollar-pegged stablecoin, used for fees and rewards.
